Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!
How do we learn to love? Is it an action, a feeling, or something much more profound? Imagine for a moment the love that exists between a fish and water. The fish doesn't possess water; it doesn't claim ownership or criticize it. Instead, the fish's existence is intertwined with water. Water is not the object of the fish's love; it's the essence of its life.
Likewise, a beautiful transformation unfolds when we recognize IkOankar, the universal integrative force, not as an object but as an all-encompassing Vastness. It's a rejuvenation that goes beyond mere understanding – it's feeling, sensing, and absorbing. It's shedding the trivial and embracing a love akin to that of a lotus for water.
Even amidst life's tumultuous waves, the lotus blooms, untouched by the chaos around it. It thrives in its aquatic home, just as we can thrive by embracing the all-encompassing force of IkOankar. This force, this water, is Nam – the essence that gives life meaning, purpose, and depth.
Consider water as our true home, our fundamental ecosystem. We experience true beauty, strength, boundlessness, and unimaginable freedom within it. It's a mystery that surpasses worldly understanding, an enigma to be explored through the songs of 1Ness, the Sabad.
In our life journey, we are invited to embody the spirit of the fish, the lotus, and the being intertwined with the universe. We are called to feel the presence of 1Force, the omnipresent energy that connects all of existence. Through this connection, we live in Identification, transcending the boundaries of our mortal selves.
Let's allow ourselves to sing the songs of 1Ness, just as the lotus sways with the water's rhythm. Let's allow the wisdom of IkOankar to infuse every aspect of our lives, just as the fish is inseparable from the water it calls home.
As we navigate life's currents, let's remember that we're swimming in the embrace of the divine force, much like the fish in water. Let's open our hearts and minds to the vastness of love surrounding us, recognizing that we are part of something far greater than ourselves.
So, let's love like the fish loves the water – not possessively or conditionally, but with an all-encompassing, unconditional, and pure love. Let's embrace the tossings of life with grace, knowing that our connection with IkOankar, the eternal Oneness, is our anchor.
In this recognition, we find liberation – the liberation of love, the liberation of understanding, and the liberation of being. Our being blossoms like the lotus, rooted in the profound waters of 1Ness.
May our lives resonate with the songs of 1Ness.
May the Wisdom-Guru be with us!
Featuring: Surender Pal Singh Guru Granth Sahib is a treasure house of a variety of figurative expressions like imagery, symbolism, metaphors, similes, and so on. The contributors to Guru Granth Sahib have intertwined a diverse range of such expressions with their poetic revelations. These expressions bring alive the mystic and spiritual experiences that are otherwise inexpressible through language and make them more relatable for a commoner. Most of these expressions draw parallels from South-Asian day-to-day life and its surrounding environment including nature, creatures, professions, faith and religion, socio-cultural mores, politics, and more. #Sikhi #Sikh #GuruGranthSahib #Symbolism #SikhRI
There is a deeply profound sentiment tied to martyrdom in Sikhi as well as in many other faiths groups. Throughout the ages, we have seen challenging circumstances of oppression that have chosen to desecrate the bodies of those who address it.
“Ranjah, I only see love. There is no Hir; there is no Ranjah.”
