Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!
Basant, a melodious musical mode evoking festivity and renewal, heralds the transition from winter's icy grip to embracing spring's promise. In the timeless verses of Guru Arjan Sahib, we discover a profound resonance with the spirit of Basant as the Guru paints a vibrant tableau of celebration and connection. Amidst the vibrant hues of Phag, or Holi, we are reminded of the festival's deeper essence – a sacred communion with Prabhu, the One, and a joyous celebration of unity.
Guru Arjan Sahib's words resound with joy, transcending the boundaries of time and ritual as the Guru says, today in our home is spring. O limitless Prabhu! We have sung Your virtues.
We pause.
We reflect.
Can we immerse ourselves in the metaphorical spring within our heart-home, regardless of the calendar's markings or the changing seasons?
Celebration and connection with the One knows no bounds of time or circumstance. When we immerse ourselves in the timeless melodies of IkOankar One Universal Integrative Force virtues, we transcend the limitations of worldly time and space, and every moment, regardless of the day, month, or hour, becomes a spring.
May we gather with fellow seekers and engage in the celestial play of Holi, not with colored powders, but through acts of selfless service. Immersed in the crimson dye of love for IkOankar, may we adorn our beings with the hues of divine affection.
May we bloom with a beauty that transcends worldly joy or sorrow. Rooted in the soil of divine grace, may we remain evergreen and resilient, adorned with the fruits of spiritual fulfillment. May the sacred Parjat tree take root within the depths of our being, bearing the blossoms of Nam—the essence of Divine Identification. Here, our wishes find fulfillment not in material pursuits but in the abundance of riches that adorn our inner landscape.
Guru Arjan Sahib invites us to reframe our celebration of Holi, recognizing its potential to forge a deeper sense of community and service to the Divine. This invitation to connection and transformation is available to all at any time.
Will we sing Divine virtues?
Will we immerse ourselves in the deep crimson red of divine love?
May Wisdom-Guru be with us!
