Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!

In the boundless expanse of existence, purity emerges as a beacon of hope, promising unfathomable joy and fulfillment. Yet, amidst our pursuit of purity, we often find ourselves entangled in the allure of external validations. But is purity solely a matter of external appearance, or does its essence reside deep within us?

Within the composition of Anand Sahib, Guru Amardas Sahib, in the seventeenth verse, imparts profound wisdom, declaring those beings became pure who meditated on Hari, the All-Pervasive, the One Light.

We pause.
We reflect.

Who are these "beings" the Guru speaks of? They are individuals deeply immersed in the continuous remembrance of the 1-Light, guided by the wisdom bestowed upon them by the Wisdom-Guru. Through the grace of the Wisdom-Guru's teachings, they traverse the path of Sabad (Infinite Wisdom), finding purification in the unwavering contemplation of the 1-Light. These beings, revered as bhagats, the devoted ones, embody purity in its purest form.

Guru Amardas Sahib proclaims that their mother and father become pure, along with the family; their entire company became pure. Reciters become pure; listeners become pure; they become pure, who enshrined the One Light in the mind. This purity transcends the individual, permeating familial bonds and companionships, casting its transformative light upon all who come into its presence.

How is this possible?

Because…This purity is rooted in wisdom-centeredness rather than self-centeredness and radiates outward like ripples on a tranquil pond. Every word, action, and thought of these devoted beings resonates with this transformative essence, elevating themselves and the world around them. It transcends personal boundaries, shaping relationships and illuminating the very aura of their surroundings.

Grounded in the teachings of the Wisdom-Guru, this internal purification reshapes our thought patterns and behaviors, guiding us away from darkness towards the light. It is a transformative force that transcends lineage and physical attributes, offering the potential for all who encounter it to bask in its radiant glow.

In essence, purity, as illuminated by the Wisdom-Guru, defies conventional definitions, redefining our understanding of what it truly means to be pure. It beckons us on a sacred quest that leads us back to the eternal wellspring of all purity – the Divine Light within.
