Donations

SikhRI is an educational nonprofit.  Our operating budget comes from people just like you. Your dasvandh (ethical sharing) helps fund our research, production, and delivery of our offerings for young and mature adults, children and parents, and institutions. We are grateful for your contribution towards Sikh awareness and personal transformation. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

We will not trade, share or sell a donor’s personal information to anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

For our donors who are interested in making significant, multi-year investments into the work of the Sikh Research Institute, we have created the Charter Members Network. This group of supporters spans different parts of the world, life experiences and qualifications. All are united in their interest to create new and enhanced connections to Sikhi, will building an institution for the future.

Stocks/Securities
‍We encourage donors to transfer gifts of securities to SikhRI’s brokerage account in the USA with Vanguard 60455698 by filling out the transfer form. DTC (Depository Trust and Clearing) Number - 0062. Please ensure stock/securities transferred from outside the USA are compatible with American Stock Exchange. When you have filled out the transfer form, please provide a copy to your broker and send a copy to us at matina.kaur@sikhi.org.

In Canada, we are able to process gifts of securities through Canada Helps.

Gifts-in-Kind
‍Donating tangible items or assets is a useful way to support SikhRI. To determine if your item is appropriate as a gift-in-kind, please email us at matina.kaur@sikhi.org.

Employer Match
‍Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. SikhRI will do the rest. The impact of your gift to us may be doubled or possibly tripled!
