Amandeep Singh Sandhu is a writer and journalist whose work spans fiction, non-fiction, and cultural commentary. He is the author of Sepia Leaves and Roll of Honour, followed by the acclaimed non-fiction work Panjab: Journeys through Fault Lines. A former Homi Bhabha Fellow, he is currently a New India Foundation Fellow, working on a book exploring Sikh communities outside Panjab within India.
Usha Subramanian is an experienced event organizer who has curated and presented acclaimed theatre productions from Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. In addition to her work in the arts, she serves as a Director in an automobile dealership and is an active member of Rotary International.

Through contemporary translation and commentary, the book draws on the voices of the Guru’s court poets—Bhai Nand Lal Goya and Chandra Sain Sainapati—offering rare glimpses into the Guru’s divine presence and sovereign leadership.
