Join us this afternoon as Jaskiran Kaur presents and discusses relevant issues parents/guardians face today in an interactive workshop. We look to enhance the relationships between parent/guardian and child and inspire them to follow a Guru-oriented lifestyle.

Parents often find themselves in a tight spot when dealing with children; their demands, expectation, behavior, etc. They feel clueless as to how to respond to children under certain circumstance. The answer to the majority of such issues lies in the macro view of life that dictates our relationship with the children and how we look at them. This discussion provides a Sikhi viewpoint on parenting and nurturing a Sikh child by delving into Gurbani and Sikh tradition, which will help inform our attitude and better shape our relationship with children.

All parents are invited.
Childcare for children of attendees available on-site. The kids will be engaged in fun Sikhi conversations. Snacks & refreshments provided.

About the Speaker:
Jaskiran Kaur is a mom and wife with a day job in Transplant Analytics which inspires and drives her. As a part of the beautiful Dallas Sangat, she wants to continue learning from parents on different stages in the parenting journey. One of her favorite quotes is “Having a child is liking getting a tattoo…on your face. You better be committed.” – Eat Pray Love.
