How did we get to this stage and what is the current state of Panthak politics vis a vis Panjab today? This freewheeling discussion will allow SikhRI’s Senior Fellow, Research & Policy, Harinder Singh, to touch on a variety of topics and ideas.

About the Speaker:
Harinder Singh currently serves as the Senior Fellow, Research & Policy, at the Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI). His current focus is on developing critical thinking for Sikh institutions via State of the Panth report series and developing open-source decoding of Guru Granth Sahib in contemporary language for the global audience. He is a widely respected educator and thinker who is deeply in love with 1Force, the Oneness that radiates in all. He co-founded the Sikh Research Institute and the Panjab Digital Library, organized the Free Akal Takht movement, and envisioned Kaur and Singh Academy. He is a prolific writer and sought-after public speaker. He was also authored several articles on spirituality, history, culture, linguistics, politics, governance, and prison reform. He has co-authored Emperor-Prophet: Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, Guru Granth Sahib: Its Language & Grammar, Sikhi: Faith & Followers; edited Guru Gobind Singh Sahib & Sikhs in Bihar, The Khalsa Raj: Banda, Battles & Body-Politic and translated Love Harp (Prit Vina).
He has spoken at universities, corporate houses, government departments, interfaith forums, museums, civic and community organizations worldwide. He regularly appears on radio and television programs globally. He also consults on curriculums, exhibitions, films, board development, and policy-making. He currently resides in New Jersey, in the United States of America, with his grandmother, wife and two children.
