Saneha is a beautiful Panjabi word that means personally delivering a message on behalf of another. ‘Saneha: Becoming Guru-centered sessions are for personal and/or community development. Content incorporates the Gurmat framework of bani (wisdom), tavarikh (history), and rahit (lifestyle), as well as other universal principles that resonate with the message of the Sikhi. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and arrive at answers through collective understanding.
These Saneha sessions will explore Raj as established by the ten Gurus based on Guru Granth Sahib and secondary texts. They will also explore the development of the Guru’s Raj by the Sikhs of the Guru and its relevance today.
Why was the Raj established by Guru Nanak Sahib? What was its vision? How was it institutionalized by the successive Guru Sahibs? What were the manifestations of its growth by the Panth (the Sikh collective)? How is it relevant today?
