Join us this afternoon as Gurpreet Kaur, Technologist, Collaborator, Sevadar, & Harinder Singh, Thinker, Educator, Activist, will dive into the significance and importance of Seva from a historical and practical perspective.
What really constitutes Seva? Why do I need to do it? How can I do my part? These and other aspects of this core principle of Sikhi will be discussed in an interactive lecture/workshop format. Substantiation from Bani, Tavarikh, and Rahit will expose the participants to all aspects of Seva so as to apply it to our current and local realities.
Gurpreet Kaur has been in the management consulting field for over 25 years. She is currently a VP of IT: Strategic Initiatives at Integra Life Science. Gurpreet Kaur is a Board Chair at Kaur and Singh Academy, Board Member with Panjab Digital Library and Founder of Camp Nadar. She is a regular facilitator for Sikhri programs such as Grihast, Saneha, and Sidak among others. She spent two years in the Panjab enriching her experience of Sikhi and Panjabi cultures while implementing projects towards educational, psychological, and social empowerment. Her passion in music expands from classical to folk, from kirtan to git. She lives in New Jersey with her family.
