Dr. Kala Singh will be discussing:
• Role of culture and migration on mental health and
suicide of South Asians.
• Role of South Asian spirituality on mental health and suicide.
• A new South Asian Spiritual Model of Counseling.
• How to use this model not only for South Asians BUT for everyone.

Dr. Kala Singh has been writing articles on mental health issues and on problems facing Indo-Canadian Community, such as ‘youth problems’, ‘elderly abuse’, ‘women abuse’ and ‘Spirituality and Mental Health’, in the local Panjabi and English newspapers. He has appeared on live radio and TV talk shows for those issues.
