The Language of Gurbani serves as an introductory course to the linguistic aspects of Gurbani. It covers major elements of Gurbani language in the form of instructions and discussion through structured online sessions,offline personal reading and practice on the following:

• Language – Language system, Inscribed Elegance (script), Phonology (sound)

• Grammar – Parts of speech, inflection categories and case types

The course is based on the text book Guru Granth Sahib – Its Language and Grammar.

Course length: 5 weeks, 12 hours of pre-recorded instructions, 10 hours of discussion sessions (2 classes of approximately 60 minutes each every weekend), 36 non-instruction hours including readings and exercises.Time: 12 pm EDT

Capacity: Open to 20 participants
