Annual Report – 2014

January 1, 2015

SikhRI trains today’s activists and tomorrow’s leaders at workshops, retreats and conferences. Our education team designs resources and curriculum for use in Sikh schools and in the home, and offers training for teachers around the world.

Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fateh!

Greetings and Thank you for your interest and support for the Sikh Research Institute. In the past year, we at SikhRI have been excited in our continued growth and progress as an organization. With a shared dream to find a way for others to experience what we did as we fell in love with Sikhi, I believe, In 2014, our motto “Helping you fall in love with Sikhi!” captured the essence.

Turning this dream into reality can only be accomplished through strong partnership with the local Sikh communities. I am humbled by the dedication of our volunteers, who tirelessly assist us in making
sure our programming reaches their local communities and of course our generous donors without whom our program delivery would not be possible. It is a testament to the sangat’s encouragement and support worldwide, that SikhRI twelve years later, is not only still here but continues to grow and is steadily building momentum in achieving its goals and objectives of providing first rate, thoughtful, insightful and innovative programs through the most effective mediums.

As with other Sikh organizations, we are continuously internally and externally challenged in meeting program demands with the resources at hand, however, our mission keeps us focused and teamwork delivers. The need for Gurbani inspired education is apparent more than ever and I’m excited and feel privileged in aspiring towards finding solutions small as they might be in the larger picture towards advancing the Guru’s vision for the panth.

Degh Tegh Fateh.

Helping you fall in love with Sikhi!

Sincerely,

Inni Kaur, Chair, Board of Directors
