Annual Report – 2022

September 6, 2023

Together we continue to “Illuminate every path” to Sikhi and inspire individuals to connect with their roots and organizations to think critically based on Guru Granth Sahib’s paradigm of IkOankar, 1Force. SikhRI offers various ways to connect with the roots.

Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!

Together we continue to “Illuminate every path” to Sikhi and inspire individuals to connect with their roots and organizations to think critically based on Guru Granth Sahib’s paradigm of IkOankar, 1Force. SikhRI offers various ways to connect with the roots. Whether through the flagship program Sidak, a 2-week immersive leadership development course, the Sojhi K-12 curriculum, or the Guru Granth Sahib Project, which connects contemporary English and Panjabi audiences with Sabad-Wisdom. Our supporters help make this and much more possible! In 2022, we raised $1.4 million.

Once again, it is an honor and privilege to produce this annual report. In this single document, we encapsulate the past year’s highlights and specifically seek to bring to life donor dollars’ tremendous impact on the community. While this report

can profile only a portion of our work, we trust that it fills our donors with gratification and offers a sense of how their contributions contribute to excellence.

The 20th annual Sidak leadership program brought together 53 Sidakers and 14 staff members and facilitators from six nations (Belgium, Canada, India, Mexico, the UK, and the USA). With our funders’ tremendous support, we finally realized our vision of making Sidak fee-free for all participants. As expected, removing this financial barrier resulted in our largest cohort in 2022.

Our deepest gratitude to our donors, who allow SikhRI
to serve the global community through developing new educational resources, facilitating presentations, and creating enriching reading materials for anyone seeking Sikh knowledge. Thank you!

In addition to recognizing our donors and staff, we also acknowledge the volunteer efforts of our Board and its various committees. Each of these individuals has found a way to demonstrate their commitment and dedication to our mission.
