Bhavraj Singh Ghtaura

He currently serves as an Account Executive with Samsung Electronics Canada, managing the company’s major-appliance partnerships with Best Buy Canada and Amazon.

Bhavraj brings extensive experience across business operations, technology, procurement, executive education, retail, and strategic partnerships. Before joining Samsung, he served as Director of Operations and Business Applications with UBC Sauder’s executive education division, where he led operational strategy, technology platforms, financial planning, and service delivery.

Bhavraj’s connection with the Sikh Research Institute began when he attended Sidak in San Antonio, Texas, in 2013. That experience strengthened his connection with Sikhi and began a lasting relationship with SikhRI. Today, he serves as a member of SikhRI’s Board of Directors and contributes to its nominations and fundraising work. His involvement allows him to continue deepening his own understanding of Sikhi while supporting the development of thoughtful and accessible Sikh learning for others.

Outside of his professional and community commitments, Bhavraj is a father who is passionate about leadership, education, and building stronger institutions that can make a lasting difference in their communities.
