Diditi Mitra
Sociology Professor, Brookdale Community College
Diditi Mitra teaches at Brookdale Community College. Her research focuses on race and immigration.
She has authored Punjabi Immigrant Mobility in the United States: Adaptation through Race and Class and co-edited Race and the Lifecourse: Readings from the Intersection of Race, Ethnicity and Age. Currently, Diditi is working family migration from Punjab, India to the United States. Diditi is also a Kathak dancer and dabbles in poetry. Mitra holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Temple University.
