Sharan Kaur
Associate Director, Donor Relations
Sharan Kaur is the Associate Director of Donor Relations at SikhRI. She holds an Honors degree in Criminology from Toronto Metropolitan University. Her passion for giving back to the community stemmed from a young age, leading her to return to university to pursue a certification in Fundraising Management.
This passion drives her work at SikhRI, where she is dedicated to fostering meaningful donor relationships and supporting the organization's mission of providing educational resources within the Sikh community.
Sharan's commitment to SikhRI reflects her belief in the power of community-driven initiatives to create lasting change. Sharan is actively involved with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Vancouver), sitting on three different committees, where she continues contributing her expertise and leadership.
Outside of her professional life, Sharan enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Her dog Simba is a cherished companion, and they often explore the beautiful trails around her hometown of Vancouver, BC, where she loves hiking. Sharan focuses on positively impacting every area of her life, whether at work or in nature.
