What is Mahima?

Mahima sessions delve into questions, ideas, principles, or concerns pertinent to the Sikh community. Through the lens of "wisdom, history, and lifestyle," attendees gain fresh insights, fostering ongoing engagement beyond the session's end.

Guru Arjan Sahib: The Divine Personification

Guru Arjan Sahib, the epitome of perfection, imparted the message of the 1 and 1Ness of Creator-creation. The Sovereign of the benign dominion (halemi raj) 一 where peace abides, and no one dominates anyone 一 extended dignity and justice to all.

He challenged political and religious domination, empowering the masses with Guru Nanak Sahib's political-spiritual (raj-jog) governance principle. He established Sri Amritsar Jiu and Sri Harimandar Sahib as centers for cultivating Divine wisdom and fostering socio-political order. This posed a threat to the rulers; he was imprisoned, tortured, and martyred.

This presentation derives lessons from the Guru's legacy on how to build equitable and empowered communities.
