Call of Saintly Beings: Navigating Bliss

July 16, 2024

Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!

In the complex web of life, where doubts and uncertainties often cloud our vision, it's easy to lose sight of our divine essence. Since our first breath, we've been ensnared in the web of societal norms, haunted by whispers of doubt and burdened by feelings of inadequacy. Yet, amidst the clamor of our thoughts, there exists a faint whisper of truth, calling us to rediscover our inherent worth and purpose.

Guru Amardas Sahib, in the ninth verse of Anand Sahib, the composition that guides one to experience bliss, extends an invitation to all by addressing us as beloved saintly beings. Come, O beloved saintly beings! Let us have a discourse on the Indescribable One."

We pause.
We reflect.

Who are these beloved saintly beings? They are none other than ourselves—the seekers and wanderers yearning to experience the indescribable bliss that transcends words. Guru Amardas Sahib calls upon us to assemble to explore the essence of the Indescribable One that permeates both within and around us.
Should we choose, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery, guided by the path illuminated with unwavering devotion and adherence to the Divine Command. This path is adorned with the eternal Bani, Infinite Wisdom.
As we convene to contemplate the ineffable narrative of IkOankar, the One, the Indescribable One, we are urged to pause and reflect on its profound significance. What does this entail? It requires us to disengage from distractions and focus our attention. It marks the initial step for those pursuing bliss, demanding sincere effort. How do we commence this journey toward bliss? By dedicating our body, strength, mind, intellect, emotions, wealth, and all aspects of our existence to the Wisdom-Guru and faithfully following the Command.

Are we ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery?
Are we willing to put in the effort?
Are we prepared to answer the call?

May Wisdom-Guru guide us!
