Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!
This week, we are called to listen—
to the tender, ancient invitation by Guru Ramdas Sahib in the sacred Lava.
Not merely a composition for the ceremony,
Lava is the intimate whisper of the seeker longing to merge with the One-Light, the Beautiful Being. It is the tender journey from separation to union, from wandering to homecoming.
Guru Ramdas Sahib, speaking as the yearning human-bride, calls out to IkOankar — the One Universal Integrative Force — the Divine-Husband, the Eternal Groom, the One-Light.
This is not the end.
It is the beginning of a life lived in sweetness—
where mind and body are saturated with the Light, effortlessly, ceaselessly.
And so it is, too, for two beings who unite in the House of Guru Ramdas Sahib,
choosing not only each other, but the One-Light at their center.
Their bond is not merely of hands, but of hearts turned toward the Infinite.
Together, they are invited to live a principled life, anchored in the Wisdom,
to make Nam their constant remembrance,
to let sweetness well up within them—not by striving, but by surrender.
The world crowns the fortunate with wealth, fame, fleeting success.
However, in the House of Guru Ramdas Sahib, the truly fortunate are those
whose minds savor the endless sweetness of the One-Light.
This week, we are invited into this sacred question:
Are we willing to be chiseled by the Eternal Utterances?
Are we willing to let go of our old patterns and walk a new way?
Are we willing to link our lives — lovingly, willingly —
to the journey that leads us back to the Beautiful Being?
The steps are before us.
The Beloved is waiting.
Will we say yes?
May the Wisdom-Guru be with us!
