Love & Justice: Week 6 - Mul Mantra (Root-Verse)

In the Mul Mantra (literally “root-verse”), the opening verse of the Sikh scriptural canon and manifesto, Guru Nanak expresses the qualities of the Divine.

The Sikh vision seeks to create a society encompassing the diversity of humanity while developing an organized resistance to injustice.

Sikhs strive toward connecting with the Divine within the context of their daily life and seek to transform, rather than separate from, the material world. They aspire to love humanity through spiritual reflection, selfless service, and active contribution to the global community.
