Our final session examines the last sabad of Babarvani (Utterances on Babar), found in Rag Tilang (Guru Granth Sahib, p. 722). This sabad is unique in its structure, beginning as a direct address to Bhai Lalo, the Guru’s devoted Sikh who witnessed the devastation of the Mughal invasion.

Guru Nanak Sahib boldly proclaims that his words are divinely inspired, serving as a vessel for eternal wisdom. He warns that evil thrives when the righteous remain silent. In the second part of the sabad, Guru Nanak Sahib offers an unprecedented prophecy within Guru Granth Sahib, declaring that Mughal rule itself is temporary.
