The Sikh Research Institute Canada (SikhRI Canada) launched their newest project “The Vidia Mentorship Programme” on Friday, 10 January 2014. This program was designed to connect young Sikh students with Sikh professionals in their areas of interest to empower them to succeed.
Our education team designs resources and curriculum for use in Sikh schools and in the home, and offers training for teachers around the world. SikhRI also contributes to multicultural and interfaith dialogues and publishes information for corporate, educational and media trainings.
Sikh Research Institute welcomed 32 participants and over a dozen instructors and facilitators representing five countries to Sidak 2013. The eleventh year of the leadership development program was held in San Antonio, Texas, from 28 July through 10 August.
The Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) concluded its twelfth annual summer program, Sidak – Faith. Courage. Discipline, on 9th August 2014. The program commenced on 27 July 2014 at the Khalsa Center in Miracle Valley, British Columbia, Canada.
Next week Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) will launch its flagship Sojhi Gurmat & Panjabi Education Resource for free online download on the Sikh Educators Network (SEN) site.
SikhRI Canada hosted a busy week of presentations and interviews in the BC-area from 26 June – 3 July. Programming focused on parenting and families and also on Sikh professionals. There were also talks commemorating the Shahidi of Guru Arjan Sahib.
