Vahiguru ji ka Khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki Fatih!
In the month of Phagan (mid-February to mid-March), something stirs beneath the surface. It is a time of exhilaration and quiet anticipation—creation is underway, yet birth has not arrived. The air is thick with expectancy, alive with the thrill of love unfolding.
Guru Nanak Sahib, in Barah Maha Tukari, captures the seeker’s journey through the voice of a human-bride addressing IkOankar (the Divine-Spouse) with heartfelt intimacy:
That human-bride has bloomed in her mind, to whom love of the Divine-Husband became endearing. In her heart, rejoicing has happened every day; she has lost egoism. The human-bride forsook attachment of the mind when it was pleasing to That Divine-Husband; she pled, O Divine-Husband, having bestowed grace, come into my home-heart.
We pause.
We reflect.
In the preceding months, the mind wrestled with the world around it—swayed by shifting seasons, restless in its seeking, clinging to desires, mistaking fleeting joys for something lasting. But now, a transformation has taken place. The mind no longer looks outward. It is no longer searching. It is not just in love; it is in love with love itself.
The seeker no longer struggles between heart and mind; they are aligned, pulsing with the same rhythm. The ache of separation has softened into surrender. And in that surrender, all fears and doubts have dissolved. The heart and mind, once at war, now beat as one. There is no hesitation, no second-guessing. The seeker stands in the fullness of love, belonging wholly to the One.
Gone is the uncertainty. The seeker is clear, radiant, and immersed. The battle with attachment and greed has faded, replaced by a deep and abiding presence. The external no longer dictates the internal; instead, the inner state begins to shape the outer world.
The Wisdom-Guru has led the seeker here—to a place where the Divine-Spouse dwells within the home-heart. This is the fruit of the seeker’s journey: the stillness of a mind that once wavered, the fulfillment of a heart once divided.
No longer waiting.
No longer yearning.
The ache has melted into presence.
Love is no longer a distant call—it is here, filling every breath, every moment. The Spouse has arrived.
The seeker is home.
May Wisdom-Guru guide us.
