One who calls oneself a Sikh of the Guru, the Eternal Guru, rises at dawn, contemplates on All-Pervasive Nam1. Endeavors daily at dawn: cleanses and bathes in the pool of Immortality. Follows Guru’s Instructions, utters the utterance of All-Pervasive! All-Pervasive! Pains from all evilish transgressions vanish. Then, at daybreak, sings Guru’s Teachings, contemplates on All-Pervasive Nam while sitting or standing. One who contemplates with every breath on my All-Pervasive! All-Pervasive! That Sikh of the Guru pleases the Guru’s mind. Whosoever feels my Owner-Divine’s compassion, the Guru imparts instructions to that Sikh of the Guru. Servant Nanak asks for that Sikh of the Guru’s Feet-dust2 who personally utters and inspires others to utter Nam. 1. Nam Identification 2. This is our understanding at the moment, which was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow, as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. Who understands and knows this method: Drops in the ocean, ocean in the drops. You observe the playful creation, You recognize its essence. 1. Few reflect on such Wisdom: Freedom and final state of existence is through the One. 1. Reflect. Night in the day, Sun in the night, Same method in summer and winter. Nobody knows movement-measurement of the One, Without Guru, there is no understanding. 2 The knower of Supreme Cosmic understands: Male is in female, female is in male. Sound is in contemplation, contemplation is in Knowing, Indescribable narrative comes through Guru-orientation. 3. Mind is in Light, Light is in mind, Five senses unite as Gur-siblings. First, Allah1 created Light. All beings are of Creation. The entire universe was created from One Light— Who’s good, who’s bad? 1. O! People, O! Brother, doubt not, forget not. Creator, Creation, Creator within Creation, totally permeating all spaces. 1. Reflect Creator created many forms from one clay. Flawless is the clay pot, flawless is the Potter. 2. Within all is the same Eternal One. All things occur because of the One. Call that person the Banda,2 who recognizes Hukam3 and knows the One. 3. Allah is imperceptible, cannot be perceived, Guru granted sweet jaggery-perception. Kabir says: My doubt destroyed, seeing Immaculate everywhere. 4.
