When the body leaves, nothing goes with it. Why be attached to them? 1.
Compassionate to meek, forever the destroyer,
you haven’t developed an inclination toward that One.

ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਸਦਾ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਰੁਚਿ ਨ ਬਢਾਈ ॥

We are finite; our understanding is finite. Our understanding was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. We aspire to learn and retain the Divine attribute used in the original Sabad and avoid terms like God or Lord.

Guru Nanak Sahib (1469-1539 CE) witnessed the destruction caused by Babur with his own eyes and vividly depicted the scenes of destruction in his Bani. These revolutionary Sabads revealed by the Guru that depict pain and empathy are known as ‘Babarvani’.
Within the Guru Granth Sahib, the term 'mudavani' or 'mundavani' appears in two saloks: one by Guru Amardas Sahib and one by Guru Arjan Sahib. Collectively, these saloks serve as a key to understanding the core message of the Guru Granth Sahib.
