Sabad is Infinite; we are very finite. This is our understanding at the moment, which was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow, as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad.

Brimful Immortal nectar is within the home. Self-oriented cannot taste it.
As musk deer knows not its fragrance, wanders astray in doubt.
Forsakes Immortal nectar, gathers poison, Creator You puzzle.
Rare Guru-oriented gain insight, see Supreme Cosmic within.
Body and Mind become Cool, tongue tastes All-Pervasive.
Only Sabad1 births Nam2, only Sabad bonds union.
Without Sabad entire world is mad, life is lost in vain.
Nanak: Only One-Sabad is the Immortal nectar, Guru-oriented receive it.  2.

1. Literally “The Word.” Popularly refers to the hymns in the Guru Granth Sahib.
2. Divine Identification

ਮ: ੩ ॥

About Sabad of the Week

We are finite; our understanding is finite. Our understanding was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. We aspire to learn and retain the Divine attribute used in the original Sabad and avoid terms like God or Lord.
