Remember All-Pervasive, All-Pervasive Nam with the Sage-Guru,
Naturally the bliss remains day and night, my seed sprouts.  Reflect.

Fortunately met the Perfect-Guru whose limits cannot be measured,
grabbed servant’s hand and pulled it out of the poisonous world-ocean.  1.

Guru’s teachings ended birth and death. The door of suffering no more!
Nanak bows again and again, enters Divine sanctuary.  2.

Sabad is Infinite; we are very finite. This is our understanding at the moment, which was different yesterday and may evolve tomorrow, as we deepen our relationship with the Sabad. In this trans-creation, we have chosen to keep the repeating words in the Sabad same. We aspire to learn and retain the Divine attribute as used in the original Sabad and avoid terms like God or Lord.

Sikhi & Death: A Gurmat-Based Understanding

Death comes for all of us. Yet we live in a culture that endlessly tries to escape this reality—through our obsession with youth, medical interventions to delay aging, or the way death is sensationalized in popular media.
